15m x 40m (plus) Roder Wooden Cassette Flooring

Roder Wooden Cleated Board System. Each board 4.9m x 0.5m approx; with aluminium extrusions these make up 5m x 0.5m sections. Extrusions have shallow wooden bearers fixed to undersides; this means the base of the boards sit 4″ off the ground.

Lot includes 260 Boards. It takes 240 boards to make up either 50m x 12m or 40m x 15m; so either size can be achieved with 20 boards to spare.

Originally purchased from Roder as 45m x 15m but some boards cut or lost over time. As a result we believe there to be enough extrusion for 45m x 15m; and this would create the potential, by acquiring just another ten boards, to allow 45m x 15m (30 boards being required for each 5m x 15m section).

When the boards are fitted into the extrusion (“step over plate”) it helps greatly to lay 4″ x 4″ (10cm square approx) bearers along their length to minimise any flexing of the 5m long boards. Our entire stock of these – which should be enough for 45m x 15m – will be included in the sale.

All in reasonable and certainly useable condition although a few with minor splits and nail holes. All were painstakingly treated with knotting solution on purchase. Dusty and some marking commensurate with use.

Sale lot comprises: all 260 boards; our entire stock of extrusion; and our entire stock of 4″ square wooden bearers.

4″ square wooden bearers are shown in some images (such as those of the installation) along with the boards and the extrusions; other items seen in the photos, such as the polythene underlay and the marquee, are not included.

This is a significant amount of equipment that will need transportation by a large goods vehicle (or vehicles if 7.5T lorries used).
